Grundlagen · Flatwater
The Basic Course: You get a good foundation in the skill and knowledge to paddling a canoe solo or tandem on flat
to gentle moving water with safety and under control: Getting your canoe to the point you wanted!
This acquired knowledge in theory and practice provides you a broaden basic for the whole canoe-training and is supporting your learning results in successive river courses.
Also on the program: Your paddling technique will be videotaped and reviewed. In addition you have the opportunity to try stand-up paddling (SUP).

Fluss 1 · Moving Water 1
The Basic River Course: Do you want to paddle on rivers under control and safely? During this course you get a
good foundation in the skill and knowledge to paddling on moving waters and recognizing hazards. So you can do
eddy turns, peel outs, ferries and other maneuvers efficiently with the least use of power.
Experience paddlers can improve their specific paddling skills.

Fluss 2 · Moving Water 2
The Perfection Course is the continuation of the MW1. Added to those MW1 skills are the finer points of paddling
a canoe, reading moving water, boat control, safety and good judgment. The focus is more on boat control, maneuvering, precision and how to “play” the river.

Wildwasser · White Water
The Basic Whitewater Course / Wildwasser-Grundkurs (WW-G):
The goal of this course is to take the skills and knowledge that you have learned in the MW courses and apply
them to more difficult water. Also, to refine and add to those skills the finer points of paddling a canoe on white water, up to and through WW I-II.
Rescues are also on the program: Use of throw bags (throwing & receiving), swimming, recovering...
The Advanced Training Whitewater Course / Wildwasser-Aufbaukurs (WW-A):
The skills and knowledge from the WW-G course will be applied to WW II-III.

FS
Freestyle
The Freestyle Course: Dancing on the water - playful efficiency with the canoe. “Art paddling” is wonderful to
look at and is great fun! In addition to this freestyle-technique it helps to improve general boat control - both on flat and moving waters.

General Information
To gain best learning results, you should put yourself in a genuine level of your own skills and choose a appropriate
course. A level too high will reduce your paddling progression.
All courses consists of Theory and Practice.
You will be paddling your own canoe - or optional you could rent a solo or tandem canoe from our fleet. The use of video helps to analyse and improve your own
paddle technique. If desired, you gets a copy of it on CD. Fee discount (except AFK):
For groups of 4 - 5 participants: 15%.
For groups of 6 and up: 20%.
Children under 14 years of age: 50%
(no discount for groups possible).
Courses outside of the dates (even on weekdays) are possible! For the course place of Nuremberg
We are excellent to reach with public transportation and offer a shuttle-service between the stations
near by us and the course place. Child care is possible. For the duration of the booked course you receive a discount of 10% for your shopping in our store.
